Gateway XPG for medium voltage station - Industrial Services Lausanne (SIL)

SIL is equipping one of its MV substations in the city of Lausanne with the XPG gateway from Elvexys. The process signals are sent from the IEDs to the gateway using the IEC 61850 protocol. The gateway converts the protocol to IEC 60870-5-104 and sends the data to the control centre.

The XPG gateway is supplied in an enclosure, including IEC 61850 network switches, UPS, cabling and configuration. The enclosure can therefore easily be mounted in the substation and connected to the process devices.
